Collaborative Bury fighting until the last minute

Men's 5s were a truly collaborative team this week. We had 2 doubles (many thanks to Paul Whiting and David Carden). We had players from the 3s, the 4s, the 5s and the 6s. We had 3 GKs on the pitch (only 1 in goal!). And yet; we played really well as a team. We were vocal and communicated well. For the first half we looked the better team and to round this off Phil Gibbs picked up the ball in acres of space and worked tirelessly to put the deflection of his own shot in the back of the net. Second half the opposition stepped up their game and put Bury under a lot of pressure; particularly on the break. We conceded 2 goals. Trailing 1-2; for the last 5 minutes we had 95% possession and gave it everything but couldn't find the net. Matt Fordham even came out of defence to come up! Fantastic effort all round.
