*9 Goal Wonder*

From the moment the starting whistle was blown, Bury placed Wisbech's defense under immense pressure. After some patient passing and linking play, Libby Stacey slotted the ball past Wisbech's goalkeeper. Fired up from their early lead, Bury once again had opportunities at goal, successfully converted by Georgia Wishlade who scored her first goal of the game. Wisbech struggled to find their feet attacking against a solid Bury defense of Millie Collins, Liv Hyndman and Kaitlin Riddle who kept a clean sheet for a while. Through some unlucky play, Wisbech managed to sneak a goal. Undeterred by this, Heather Dunand scored 2 goals only a matter of minutes apart: facilitated by runs from Alice Prentice and Lottie Howard on the wings. Georgia Wishlade once again showed her strength when she fired the ball into the goal- her 2nd goal of the game.
In a turn of strong play, Emma Smith playing solidly and calmly in the triangle found herself scoring the 6th goal of the game for her team. Thankfully after conceding a penalty corner to Wisbech, a goal was not converted for the opposition. The triangle in midfield once again showed their strength when they blocked any attempts from Wisbech to break through the middle of the pitch and winning a penalty corner. Lilia Payne, struck the ball past the goalkeeper in the flick taking Bury to 7-1.

Unfazed by Wisbech's determined challenges at goal, goalkeeper Lucy Gunson kept a clean sheet in the 2nd half due to her quick feet and placing emphasis on defensive marking when Wisbech had possession. Bury once again won a 2nd penalty corner, which Sophie Edgehill cooly placed in the bottom left corner of the goal. Bury, on a winning streak, won a penalty corner with minutes left to go. Liv Hyndman swept the ball at pace past the keeper, scoring the 9th and final goal of the game.
Player of the Match went to Georgia Wishlade for fast leads into space and magical goals.
