In the last game before Christmas, the 2’s were up for it - wanting to win in style against Lowestoft Railway. However, within three minutes we were 2-0 down. Bury dominated most of the game after that and got a goal back from Seb Milbank from a short corner. We had Lowestoft on the ropes and were hunting down the equaliser. Bury got another short corner which Paul Whiting put in Hadley Rose for a great deflection goal to be kicked off the line - sadly the umpires didn’t see it so we got to retake the short corner. Amazingly, exactly the same happened again in the second half and yet again the umpires didn’t see it kicked off the line. A further two goals sealed the victory for Lowestoft Railway.
