Bury Mens 4th XI played their re-arranged match against Dereham on a foggy San Field pitch on Saturday at 10am. After a strong performance the previous week against North Norfolk expectations were high. The game started at a good pace with early dominance soon resulting in an excellent deflection goal from Piercy. Milbanks senior and junior ran the midfield well and were able to distribute the ball across the pitch to O`Connell and Jones on the wings. After half time Bury began to dominate possession and any attacks were swiftly dealt with by the experienced combination of Dyball, Watson, Snow and Sullivan. Bury soon exploited this possession with a well taken shot by Milbank Jnr. Bury completed their efforts with a well worked ball from Dyball to Piercy in the D who passed in front of the goalkeeper for Lawrence to slot home.
MOM Felix Jones.
