The pair faced The Netherlands in the final, who were pulling ahead of England by 2 goals to 0 at half time. Shazz wasn’t ready to give up though, and scored 2 goals for England in the second half - the second being in injury time, really keeping the spectators on their toes. Penalty shuffles followed and England walked away with the gold!

There were also Gold medals for Jet Konrath who played for England Ladies O55s, and Paul Calver with the England Mens O55s Spirit Team. Ian Konrath finished the tournament playing for England Mens O60s with a Bronze medal.

Patrick Sullivan was back in his Ireland kit again, after winning a Silver medal last year! The Ireland O55s Spirit Team came up against England (and Paul Calver) for the second time in the semi final. England came out on top, and Ireland took 4th place.
