To help support the development of new coaches we have arranged an England Hockey “Introduction to Hockey Coaching Workshop” for members and supporters - this is free to club members.

The workshop is a key initial building block for anyone wanting to develop their hockey coaching skills. The initial workshop will be 100% funded by the club and is open to all club members aged 14 years old or over as well as club volunteers and parents.

The workshop consists of two 3-hour sessions. The first will be delivered virtually online between 6 and 9 pm on Monday May 30th during half term. We hope several of our youth members will be able to participate. The second workshop will be held in September with the date to be confirmed.

We hope to run further workshops over the next few months:
• Practice design – Monday June 20th, 6 – 9 pm
• Engaging Games for Children – Monday July 18th, 6 – 9 pm

Places are limited so, if you would like to take part, please let us know by marking yourself as “Available” for the “EH Coaching Intro Workshop” that we have set up on Pitchero under “Training.” In the event we are oversubscribed we will give priority to those who have already expressed an interest coaching.
