Bury 3s 3:2 Bury 4s

Men’s 3s played the men’s 4s on a cold afternoon. Men’s 3s had 12 players due to late appearances and a no show at half time, which made the first half very difficult against a strong men’s 4s midfield. End to end action saw the 4s break the deadlock. Men’s 3s replied from Felix Jones scoring a short corner, and just before half time the ball was fed through to Felix jones who smashed home a reverse top hand corner stunner! Subs arrived for the start of the second half. The 3s were finally stringing passes together but after numerous short corner routines failed to convert. The 4s then struck through a defensive error making the final quarter anybody’s game. In the dying seconds Sean Millbank slipped the ball through to Paul Whiting who calmly deflected it in the goal. The game could’ve went either way but the men’s 3s will take the 3 points
