The run goes on

It was a special day today with the VP's looking on and the mens 3’s looking to make it 7 out of 7. Just as the 7’s got their first win the 3’s made it that magic 7 with a dominant performance to stay top. Easy Coast were more than 30 minutes late and had to start the game with 7 players, to be fair they defended well and Bury struggled to break them down. After five minutes East Coast were at full strength and eased off defending and with a high forward line Bury stretched the defence in to chaos creating space for Jim Armitage to run in and smash home. Bury were unlucky not to score five minutes later but the defenders foot stopped the shot rewarding Bury a flick. Andrew Simmons ran the length of the pitch only to see a confident Panda step up and slot the ball home calmly making it 2-0. East Coast stepped up and tried to find a come back and fortunately for them a gap opened up making it 2-1.

In the second half Bury taught East Coast a lesson on passing holding on to the ball making them run for about five minutes, patiently Bury moved the ball up the pitch and a clever pass to Paul Whiting he smashed a thunderbolt in to the goal making it 3-1. Bury continued to dominate and comfortably saw the game out.
