An important game with the desired outcome

It was an important game for the ladies 2s to ensure they finish above the relegation zone. Bury started in a flash, gaining the ball from the Kettering push back. A quick drive forward from Caris Gregory slipped to Lilia Payne who reverse hit into the bottom right corner within 1 minute of the starting whistle
Bury continued attacking hard; an awarded penalty flick went wide by Emma Jacobs.
Another goal for Bury in the final minutes of the first half - Caris Gregory converted from a pass from Anna Ong.

Fuelled by sweets, and an inspiring half time talk from Coach Sharon Holton, Bury came back out determined for more goals.
Kettering played defensive well, keeping Bury out and upped the pressure with some breaks through the middle. An awarded short corner was pummelled into the back board by Sinead Collins to cement the win.
