3rd League match of the season and the squad welcomed their captain back, the newly Wed Mrs Ketteridge.
Bury started positively and took the lead after 4minutes when a short corner was converted by Helena Fellingham.
Christchurch took the opportunity to level the score a few minutes later.
Bury dug deep and started to play their hockey. A couple of niggling injuries which occurred resulted in the changing of positions for other players in the squad.
Couple more goals followed before half time, one from Libby Ong followed by her sister Anna getting on the score sheet, taking Bury into half time 3-1 up.
Bury’s 4th goal came from Jo Etherton, a fine solo effort which the sideline thought was a much more difficult goal to get (than the missed one a few moments earlier).
The home sides lead was extended further when Lottie Howard got on the score sheet.
6th goal was a team goal, a lovely move where Christchurch did not get a chance on the ball, coming out of defence down the left flack to baseline put ball into the D for Anna Ong to claim her 2nd of the match.
