Bury 3s keep up the winning streak

Bury Ladies 3s were at home against Ipswich 4s hoping to keep up the winning streak after beating top of the league magpies in our last game.
Bury started with great possession first half with some lovely movement off the ball, passing between players. Ipswich won a short corner in the first half, which caused some nerves but failed to convert.
Bringing half time result in at 0-0.
Coach Katie Bedford gave the team a motivational half time team talk which seemed to do the trick!

By this point the rain had stopped and the sun decided to shine! 10 minutes back on the pitch and Romilly Findley scored a beautiful goal after a great team effort of moving the ball round their defence.
Ipswich came back attacking but solid defence by Tilly Heath, Katherine Cross, Cheryl Bosman and Heidi Mathieson meant no such luck for Ipswich. Bury found themselves back in Ipswich’s D and Jenny Clark secured another goal for Bury making it 2-0! Final whistle blew and another great win for Bury 3s finding ourselves 3rd in the table. Taking on Sudbury 2s next week with a point between us in the league.
