2nd half winner!

On a cold, dark evening game the atmosphere was fiery and full of determination from both teams to take the win and for Bury, a chance to stay top of the table.

The game started with a push back from the Magpies and the game got under way with several opportunities from both teams. Several crosses into the Magpie box but no conversions. A tense moment at 10-15mins when a chance at goal hit the woodwork for Bury. Several counter attacks from the Magpies put pressure on the backline but both teams found themselves still goalless at the half time whistle.

Both teams came back from half time ready to fight for the winning goal. Several runs down the right side by Eliza Westcott caused many opportunities for Bury but still no conversions. Then finally Bury struck gold with a cross from the right side by Issy Snell to Cheryl Bosman who tapped it in too put Bury ahead in the 63rd minute. Bury held on to their lead and was able to finish the game a goal ahead.

A great game and well fought in the conditions. Well done team! Game faces on for next week!
