Tough day against a tough oppo

The 3s started the game on a very positive note making sure that the ball was in Felixtowes half. Despite the best efforts, Felixstowe got through our defences and managed to get one past our goal keeper Kerry Wood. The 3’s tried their hardest to maintain the score at a low number however after a series of penalty corners the opposition sadly got one in. From this unfortunately point their energy declined and they let another goal through. Half time team talk happened and Bury came back with a bit of determination. After a great pass from Jaz Grayling into the D, Romilly Findley scored an amazing goal, flicking it into the back right corner. Sadly Felixstowe managed to keep their goal difference ahead of the 3’s through accurate passing and quick delivery into their D. With the 3’s motivation lowering, the forwards were determined to get another goal; through this determination they got a penalty corner. In this penalty corner Julie Greyling (Grem) managed to score a fantastic goal which motivated all the 3’s to defend right until the end. The game ended 5-2 to Felixstowe.
