*Bury Ladies 3s back to their winning ways!*

Bury Ladies 3s went into the weekend hoping to put last weeks shenanigans behind them and get back to business and their winning streak.

With a firm team talk from coach Katie Bedford before the game, Bury started this game strong, determined and positive. Bury dominated the play with great movement of the ball and some slick passes. This saw IES pick up their game and give Bury some hard defending to do.

Bury, determined to maintain top table contenders, and needing those all important points, stepped up their game and worked together, passing the ball around until finding Fiona Stokes who slotted in the first of the home goals.

Keeping the pace and momentum going, great team play and a great ball into Jo Etherton at the top of the D saw her turn and smash the ball into goal for Mazz Chapman to carry out her trademark knee slide to deflect the ball past the keeper.

With a few small changes at half time and some smart rotation of players out of their normal positions, Bury continued to apply the pressure to IES but also got a fair deal on the receiving end for a very even 2nd half.

Despite the chances, Bury were unfortunate not to convert more of their chances but came away full of praise for each other and finally some smiles on faces having walked away with a well deserved 2-0 win.
