With the wind and rain in our faces from start, Bury had their work cut out against Felixstowe who came out of blocks with the bit between their teeth.
Although Bury had opportunities to score we were unable to convert these, and eventually we were made to pay when Felixstowe managed to breakthrough our defence and score, Felixstowe doubled their lead shortly after to go in at half time 2-0 up.
After a team talk at half time, Bury came out for the second half and played more positively making opportunities down the right wing, giving a number of opportunities in front of the goal but unfortunately unable to convert. Eventually Bury paid the price as Felixstowe won a penalty corner which was converted.
Bury battled on and eventually managed earn a well deserved and well taken goal from Mike Surridge.
Disappointing end to the undefeated run, but we still start the start of the second third of the season at the top of the league.
