U14 Boys strike again

The boys faced a much stronger Bedford team than the one they beat 6-2 at the start of the season. It took them a while to get going before Ben Smart scored twice in the space of 1 minute! Bedford managed to pull one back, before a Will Bettley strike found the Bedford net via a defender’s stick. Bedford started strongly in the second half, but the team dug in and kept trying to find a way forward. Some excellent forward passes from Cameron Ford found their way through to the D, with Will Daniel scoring Bury’s 4th. Buoyed by his goal Will then proceeded to out manoeuvre several defenders before shooting the ball into the D for Ben to score no 5. Ben’s 4th goal came from a short corner after end of official time.

A resounding 6-1 win.
