Torrential rain and driving wind did not stop a strong, confident win by Bury ladies 4s away to IES 4s.
Bury pushed forward from the starting whistle with Kathryn Mitchell scoring in the first few minutes, clinically finishing a great cross from Millie Gale. The second goal came after 10 minutes, another goal crossed into the D by Millie and finished by Freya Williams. Bury scored their third goal just before the twenty minute mark with a beautiful aerial finish by Stella Wilkinson, Bury continued to push forward through the driving wind for the remainder of the first half.
Bury continued to control the game through the second half, scoring one further goal set up by Lisa Sutherland and finished by Kathryn Mitchell.
A great win that keeps Bury ladies 4s top of their league.
